SNAP-8 (Acetyl Octapeptide-3) is a synthetic octapeptide originally developed as a cosmeceutical ingredient for anti-wrinkle effects. Its mechanism works by competitively mimicking the N-terminal end of the SNAP-25 protein, which interferes with the formation of the SNARE complex.
